A standard session is 50 minutes. A course of therapy often involves six or more sessions.
For information on costs and Medicare rebates please contact our receptionist or see below.
Do I need a referral?
We recommend that distressed clients ask their GP for a referral using a Mental Health Treatment Plan as this allows rebates for up to 10 sessions in a calendar year.
Referrals on legal matters are best made by your lawyer.
No referral is required for privately funded clients.
We accept referrals from:
- GPs – Mental Health Treatment Plan
- WorkCover / Allianz
- Lawyers and other insurance providers.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments

Private Health Cover
Many private health policies cover psychological services. Check your entitlements with your insurer before your appointment.
The provisional liability clause covers initial sessions for an injured worker who has made a claim that is not yet been determined.
Assessments and reports
The cost of an assessment and report depends on the issues involved in the individual case. Your psychologist will estimate the number of sessions required for an assessment report and associated cost in the initial appointment.
