We operate using three levels of confidentiality as agreed with each client:
- Individual confidentiality – information is strictly confidential to the individual client
- Couple confidentiality – two people who identify themselves as being a couple and who are working on relationship issues agree that the psychologist can pass on personal information between partners
- Family confidentiality – members of a family who are working on family issues agree that the psychologist can pass on personal information to nominated members of the family, where the psychologist judges what information to pass on and when.
Please ensure that you understand the confidentiality arrangement you have with your psychologist. You can change the confidentiality arrangement at any time by informing the psychologist of your wish.
