Our relationship psychologists assist separated parents:
- improve parenting skills that have been criticised by their ex-partner or in a report by a family consultant
- provide a treatment report for a family law court outlining improvements made by a client in parenting skills
- assess the capacity of a mature child over the age of 13 years to make their own decisions about spending time with a parent
We accept referrals to see a child whose parents have separated based on a request by one parent unless we are informed that a family law court has required both parents to consent before their child may see a psychologist.
