Welcome Amanda Bakker to the Team

Amanda enjoys working with a wide variety of clients. She works with adults, adolescents and children in a non-judgemental, empathetic, and confidential manner.

In the throes of publishing her research on sex drive, sociosexuality and gender fluidity, Amanda has a passion for sexuality and LGBTIQ+ counselling including relationships, sexual orientation, gender identity and dysphoria, sexual desires and practices, and addiction.

Amanda also administers educational (cognitive and academic) assessments for clients six years and over. She also works with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants, including clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder, to improve emotional regulation and behaviour.

At Adelaide Psychological Services we have a dedicated team of experienced Senior Psychologists who perform a range of Educational assessments and treatments including that of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our Autism treatment programs are tailored to each child’s individual needs and often encompass areas such as social skills training, emotional regulation, and applied behavioural analysis. We provide services to those who are registered with plans through the NDIS and for private patients. Medicare rebates may be available for some of these services.
