Psychologist

As a Clinical Psychologist Registrar, I have experience working with clients across the life span. I tailor my evidence-based therapy to the client’s presentation. I have experience working with trauma, depression, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, personality disorders, chronic pain, and chronic illness. My therapeutic training includes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) informed practitioner, Compassion Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Humanistic and Choice therapy. I aim to inspire the client to be the driving force in their own therapeutic journey which in turn creates an environment for significant long lasting positive change.

As a Clinical Psychologist Registrar, I have conducted Comprehensive Educational Assessments (including Cognitive and Achievement Assessments) which assist and inform parents and educators alike. The results from the assessment inform the child’s cognitive strengths and weakness with recommendation given to Schools, Parents and NDIS. Educational Assessments assess areas of mental functioning related to memory, the ability to pay attention to tasks and to solve problems. Furthermore, I have had training in Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder assessments.
