Reinier Moolman

Clinical Psychologist

Reinier has a unique approach to both life and psychotherapy. He believes in only applying therapy strategies and techniques that have made a true difference in his own life.

Being born with a physical disability has never prevented Reinier in his pursuit of a fulfilled, meaningful, and optimistic way of life. He calls this ‘differently-abled’, a philosophy in which he believes he and his clients can do anything and that disability only occurs when one chooses not to do something positive with your life.

Many of his own experiences along with his 6 years of experience as a clinical psychologist makes him a proactive therapist who believes in powerful change happening.

Reinier has a passion for working with people living with disability, depression, anxiety, identity disorders, parenting problems, marital issues, addiction, and existential crises. He has a special interest in working with NDIS clients. His therapeutic techniques include Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), Mindfulness, Dialectic Behaviour Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Gestalt Therapy and Substance Related Rehabilitation according to the Alternative Minnesota Model.

Reinier also offers therapy in Afrikaans for Afrikaans speaking clients.
