Andrew is a psychologist who has been practising since 2015. He works with adolescent and adult clients. Through a natural empathic approach, he works with his clients to create a collaborative space where individuals can feel comfortable to understand and work through their personal and mental health challenges. With a person-centred foundation, Andrew has a range of approaches that he utilises to enable and empower clients to achieve their therapeutic goals including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Andrew works with individuals experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief and loss, emotional regulation, relationships, personality disorders, OCD, and other chronic mental health issues. Andrew places importance in creating a warm, supportive, and validating environment. He is passionate about helping his clients to improve their quality of life and wellbeing by helping them to approach and overcome life’s obstacles and barriers. Andrew has experience working in government and community sector roles as a Clinician and Clinical Lead. He has worked with a diverse range of people and cultures with a genuine respect for individual differences. He feels that it is a privilege to be invited into the lives of others in the pursuit of hope and recovery.
